you've asked, and we've got answers

how does it work?

We're a working chocolate factory here to give you a unique chocolate-making experience!

You come in, we'll seat you at a table for your party, and we'll do a 10 min demonstration. We’ll go over how much you’ll be making, and what that looks like.

The workshops we host are approx. 45-60 minutes.

When you’re finished, you’ll bring your box up to the scale and weigh the chocolate. This is when you pay. You’re welcome to make extra chocolate at $16 a pound.

We have over 100 different types of chocolate molds, about 25 topping ingredients, probably 30 different things you cover in chocolate.

WHAT CAN YOU MAKE?

We'll teach you how to make candy cups, truffles, chocolate-covered strawberries and cookies etc. and then you get free range of the space and more!

We have over 100 different types of fun chocolate molds, 25 topping ingredients, and 30 different items for you to send through our chocolate-covering machines. The possibilities are endless!

Come see for yourself how much fun it can be to Just Add Chocolate!

DO I NEED A RESERVATION?

Yes! For now, we are reservation only. Having a reservation helps us make sure the chocolate is ready and in temper for you when you come, and that there is space available.

It’s ideal to book within two weeks in advance. This ensures that the desired time is still available, and that we have enough staff on hand to give you the best experience!

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE?

If you can eat it, you can make it! This is a family-friendly place! We accept chocolatiers of any age, we just ask that you keep a special eye on your little chocolate-makers! (Let us know if you’ll need any help with this!) We have high chairs.

Children 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

However, in the case of a kids party, adults do not need to participate in chocolate-making, but still should be present to supervise.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A DEPOSIT?

No.

How many people can you accommodate?

Our date nights/family nights are full at 28 people. After that it starts to get pretty cozy.

Our maximum amount for one group, whether a corporate team, or big family group is 45.

What ages are best for a kids party? What does the birthday party entail?

The kids party is best for kids ages 5-12. This type of event is very structured. Each child gets to decorate a chocolate pizza, dip a giant marshmallow, and two cookies (or other items that they choose). This is $12 per child.

Chocolate making is 30-40 minutes and you can let us know if you want to do presents, cake, pizza, etc. afterwards. You will have up to 75 minutes.. We do not provide plates/utensils etc. but we do have a little fridge space that can be used for the cake if needed. Feel free to bring balloons or anything else to make the day memorable. Best of all, we’ll clean up all the mess!

For those 12 years old and older, we recommend an “adult style” party which is a regular workshop.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TEAM BUILDING AND A TEAM TRAINING?

Our basic team building is essentially a regular chocolate workshop that helps your team bond, allow them to spend time outside of work, and enjoy some social time together! This is $22 a person and includes a pound of chocolate each.

Our premium team training includes our regular chocolate workshop as well as a 15 minute training and activity on how to work faster, and more efficient. The leader of the team also receives a “golden ticket” incentive ($34 value) to award to the team member who they feel has implemented the training the best. This is $29 per person which includes a pound of chocolate and drinks.

Are there options for allergy sensitive guests for chocolate events?

Gluten: Our chocolate starts out gluten free. However, many items that are processed in the machines have gluten. Please see note at the end of this section.

Dairy: All our chocolate does contain butterfat. The white and milk chocolate does contain milk product.

Caution: it’s important to note that we cannot guarantee any allergy-free products or ingredients. The nature of our hands-on chocolate workshop is that there is always the possibility of cross-contamination. Allergy sensitive guests participate at their own discretion.
