you've asked, and we've got answers
how does it work?
We're a working chocolate factory here to give you a unique chocolate-making experience!
You come in, we'll seat you at a table for your party, and we'll do a 10 min demonstration. We’ll go over how much you’ll be making, and what that looks like.
The workshops we host are approx. 45-90 minutes long.
When you’re finished, you’ll bring you box up to the scale and we’ll weigh the chocolate. This is when you pay. You’re welcome to make extra chocolate at $16 a pound.
We have over 100 different types of chocolate molds, about 25 topping ingredients, probably 30 different things you cover.
WHAT CAN YOU MAKE?
We'll teach you how to make cups, truffles, chocolate-covered strawberries, cups, truffles, chocolate-covered cookies etc. and then you get free range of the space! and more!
We have over 100 different types of fun chocolate molds, 25 topping ingredients, and 30 different items for you to send through our chocolate-covering machines. The possibilities are endless!

DO I NEED A RESERVATION?
Yes! For now, we are reservation only. Having a reservation helps us make sure the chocolate is ready and in temper for you when you come, and that there is space available.
It’s ideal to book within two weeks in advance. This ensures that the desired time is still available, and that we have enough staff on hand to give you the best experience!
HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE?
If you can eat it, you can make it! This is a family-friendly place! We accept chocolatiers of any age, we just ask that you keep a special on your little chocolate-makers! (Let us know if you’ll need any help with this!)
DO I NEED TO MAKE A DEPOSIT?
We require a 50% deposit for private events and groups of 20 people or more. You can pay over the phone one month before. You’ll pay the other half the day of. We can refund the deposit in full with 48 hours notice of cancellation.
How many people can you accommodate?
Our date nights/family nights are full at 28 people. After that it starts to get pretty cozy.
Our maximum amount for one group, whether a corporate team, or big family group is 45.
What ages are best for a kids party? What does the birthday party entail?
The kids-party is best for kids ages 5-12. This type of event is more structured, providing guidelines for these ages while also giving wiggle room for creative decision making. It’s easier for you as the the parent because they know exactly how much they are making and what to make. Each child gets to decorate a chocolate pizza, cover and decorate a giant marshmallow, and two cookies (or other items that they choose). This is $11 a child or (or $10 a child for groups of 12 or more).
Your child and their guests put on hats and aprons before becoming chocolatiers! Chocolate making is 30-40 minutes and you can let us know if you want to do presents, cake, pizza etc afterwards. You will have an hour and a half, so we can clean up the area after chocolate making. Will do not provide plates/utensils etc. but do have a little fridge space that can used for the cake if need be. Feel free to bring balloons or anything else to make the day memorable. Best of all, we’ll clean up all the mess!
12 years old and older we can do an “adult-style” party which is a regular workshop.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TEAM BUILDING AND A TEAM TRAINING?
Our basic team building is essentially a regular chocolate workshop that helps your team bond and allow them to spend time outside of work and enjoy some chocolate. This is $20 a person to make a pound of chocolate a person.
Our premium team training includes our regular chocolate workshop as well as a 15 minute training and activity on how to work faster, and more efficient. The leader of the team also receives a “golden ticket” incentive to award the team member who they feel has implemented the training the best. This is $34 a person and includes a pound of chocolate per person and drinks.
Are there options for allergy sensitive guests for chocolate events?

Tree nuts /peanuts: We do process nuts on some machinery which guests can use at events. The use of nuts is optional for direct contact with guest’s chocolates used at the table top.

ABOUT US (your friends behind the scenes)
Foster, the owner of Just Add Chocolate, has been doing business in Orlando Florida for almost 30 years. About 15 years ago, he partnered with his friend Farris to open Farris and Foster’s Chocolate Factory. The business transformed into a place for people to come make their own chocolate, and it’s been growing ever since. When talking about expanding, he thought the Utah market was perfect for this business.
